Hillsborough Township Basement Water Damage Cleanup

The wood paneling in this Hillsborough Township basement showed the first signs of water damage from storms in the area. SERVPRO technicians arrived to find the carpet soaked and the walls beginning to warp from the exposure to excessive moisture. In order to dry this type of home disaster, the techs needed to remove the paneling and sheetrock from the walls and remove the carpet exposing the concrete substrate underneath. Once the saturated areas got opened up, the technicians could set up drying equipment to get the basement dried quickly. Afterward, the techs prepare the areas for the needed repairs. The final touches include a wipe down of all surfaces with antimicrobial cleaning agents and any odor control treatments needed to eradicate any remaining musty odors.
