Orangeburg Water Damage Cleanup and Pack Out
An Orangeburg basement experienced one of the most destructive types of water damage that can happen: a toilet backup. There were numerous items in the room on the carpet, which got saturated. SERVPRO techs removed the items from the room so they could better extract the water from the carpet. The techs needed to remove the wet portion of the carpet as it was contaminated with sewage, revealing a tile floor underneath. Fortunately, the moisture detection equipment showed that no seepage occurred under the tile. During a pack out, articles in a room get removed in an orderly fashion and catalogued to ensure they get put back in place to limit any disruption in the home post-cleanup.
