Branchburg Basement Has Wet Floor From Water Damage
This finished Branchburg basement had water damage from a toilet leak and the water ran out of the bathroom and affected the floating floor. SERVPRO techs arrived to find standing water and needed to remove a portion of the floorboards outside of the bathroom and around the stairs to dry the substrate underneath. The techs used their moisture detection equipment to confirm water behind the baseboards which got removed for drying. Fortunately, there was no indication of water wicked into the sheetrock on the walls. The use of multiple air movers and low grain dehumidifiers assisted in drying the area rapidly. Afterward, thorough sanitizing cleaning by the techs prepared the space for the needed repairs to restore the room fully.
