Franklin Township Hotel Needs Commercial Water Damage Cleanup
SERVPRO techs arrived at this Franklin Township hotel and found standing water on the hallway carpet as seen in the Before Photo. Due to the amount of time that passed between the commercial water damage incident and the property owner bringing in SERVPRO for the water clean up services, the water ruined the carpet and seeped into the subfloor, and wicked into the sheetrock at the floor joints. The After Photo shows the true amount of water damage that occurred in this hotel hallway. SERVPRO technicians needed to remove the carpet and baseboards to open up the subfloor for drying. The units below will get checked to make sure ceilings are not affected by any migration of the water. Fortunately, after the removal of the baseboards, the walls did not need more than a few inches of flood cuts to dry the small amount of moisture within the interior.
