Wayne Air Conditioner Causes Water Damage
When an air conditioner leaked from above in this Wayne home, the water damage appeared as a small patch of bubbled paint over a doorway leading to the kitchen. When SERVPRO technicians inspected the area using their advanced moisture detection equipment, they found a wider expanse of water wicking inside the sheetrock that required removal of the wall and insulation from the ceiling to floor to dry the interior wall cavity. The technicians cut off only the damaged portion cleanly making repairs a snap to fully restore the previously damaged area of the home. After drying the techs wipe down all surfaces to ensure they are disinfected and ready for any reconstruction needed.
