Come To Basking Ridge For An Unforgettable Festive Celebration

This year, the Jacobus Vanderveer House near Basking Ridge is celebrating its 18th annual Colonial Christmas.

General Henry Knox had his headquarters at Jacobus Vanderveer in 1778 – 1779, making this a historic house. The house is the only building remaining in North America associated with Pluckemin Artillery Cantonment.

Come to Jacobus Vanderveer for a Colonial Christmas that includes:

• A colonial market with live historic demonstrations, live music, and a free picture with Santa!
• Liberty tree lighting with presentations on the theme of “What The Holidays Mean To Me” and refreshments.
• Festive Poinsettia sales.

There will also be virtual auctions and virtual craft kits for you to enjoy at home before or after your visit.

Colonial Christmas takes place on December 5, and tickets are $10 for an individual or $20 for a family. Festivities start at noon.
